...I think my other thread got hijacked on accident for 4runners. I have a 2019 Tacoma Off road and cannot seem to figure this out.

What offset would be needed if I wanted 275/70/17 (are there other wheel size options)?

From what I can understand, and am learning it seems that tire size is about the biggest I can go without having to do too much negative offset.......

Also, what is current offset on stock tires? Is it 25 mm?

(my tire shop is sending me to the mechanic....my mechanic is sending me to tire shop....and I'm completely useless on the topic and just want to get this done. :))

    +15mm...
Yes; the stock Offroad wheel is a 16x7 +25mm.

ETA: Negative offset makes fitting larger tires more difficult.

Me and a buddy both have Falken Wildpeak tires in that size. He has 0 offset and I have -12. He had no rubbing and I had very minor rubbing. Both of us have Eibach Pro kits installed. There’s not a lot of difference but I think the slight poke that the -12 offset gives looks better.

I should add that EVERY truck will be slightly different due to variances in alignment. I feel comfortable saying that with that size tire and 0 offset, there is very little chance you’d have rubbing.

Yeah apologies, my tires are 265/70/16. I thought those were stock.
Thanks. Is the Pro Kit meaningful? I will have a two inch lift when done but I'm just writing that off as it relates to this.

True...if backspace and poke are a concern. My answer of +15mm only gave consideration to retaining stock-ish scrub radius and a lesser chance of rubbing.
    "Best" can be subjective.

Not saying this is the best but this is what I have and it’s been mounted for almost a year and a half. 275 Wildpeaks on factory 4Runners with 15mm offset. Wheels are off my wife’s 2020 runner. My truck is a 2021, all stock suspension. Rubbing is minor and usually happens in certain situations like compressing the suspension on a turn on a steep incline. Even still it’s really minor and just plastic touching. Off road it’ll rub a little more often of course and I’ve been full stuff and loaded but still only contacts plastic.
