Found a few more pics from Joshua Tree. Also should mention it’s a good idea to air down a little. Lots of sharp rocks looking to ruin your day.

Did you do the Geology Tour Road? It's so fun but ends in a sketchy area...

If you look at my original post I was quoting you’ll see a pic from Geology Tour Loop. Sketchy may be an understatement lol.

it isn’t standard in the us either. My 2019 and 2020 both required me to get an aftermarket remote start module. 3 clicks and it works.

I just have this image in my mind of going into reverse, seeing a spider face taking up the entirety of the infotainment screen, and feeling a 2 second panic of "what's wrong with everything happening in this moment".

Ok but besides the spiderweb thing I actually installed the X4s and was pretty much straight forward and simple enough.

If you do Geology Tour Loop the only thing is some sandy areas but not real deep. You can basically maneuver around those sections and there are only a few sections. If you have some good AT tires you should be fine. Berdoo Canyon is doable but only heading down from Geology Tour Loop. Coming back up could be challenging but fun.

    Helluva day.

    3) Data port relocate to the center console so I can hide a wireless android auto adapter in there and leave it plugged into the headunit. Also ran a USB-C from the center console to my Expedition Essentials 3TPAM dash mount so I can have actual fast charging up on the dash (little wire peaking out under the SPOD controller in the second picture below). This port is the only one that gives me fast charging with my phone (also a 12v cig adapter would but that would defeat the purpose of hiding wiring). This way my phone charger is hidden, and the wireless AA adapter originally plugged into the lower dash is hidden. No wires visible in the cab, just the way I like it!
