Nice! Does that allow you to lock up the back? Or do you still need the automatic tailgate lock?

Wanted to at least test them out today but seems i am missing the puddle harness to connect the wire extensions to each pod. Oh well, already submitted a ticket!

Will definitely give you a heads up. Would like to get back down there in the fall. We stayed at the Palm Springs Hyatt which seems to be a repurposed Holiday Inn lol. But it was fine. No valet but there’s a free public parking by the front entrance.

Did you order this Monday? Sorry to hear about this. Looks like the shipping dept @MESO got overwhelmed when they finally became available. Hope mine get here sooner. It just shipped yesterday. Hopefully I'll have all the parts in the same packaging when they come in this Saturday...good luck with the ticket and the install.

I got these, they're form fitting so yeah they're pretty snug but weren't to tough to put on. First time putting them on took about 20-25 mins.

I bought the OEM tailgate lock a while back and that that installed already. At least now, I can keep whatever I have in the bed secured enough and out of sight.

I have yet to receive my order of puddle pods. I did not realize they put off that much light. Is this picture in an area of total darkness?

I bought these Puddles from a member in the BST threads a couple weeks ago not the current MESO drop that seems to still be open.

Yup, total darkness except for the puddles in that photo. They're so bright its awesome :D

I just did the same mod. Replaced all six speakers with KS series kickers. Although I used the KS tweeters from crutchfield instead of plug and play from Subaru. I also feel like a pro removing trim and door panels haha.
Overall not too bad— although I had to do some soldering for the tweeter capacitors and 3-way crossovers.
Sound is 10 times better. And for less than 375 bucks all in.

Next time you go down to J-Tree, hit the trails in the north part of the park. Gold Crown road, Old Dale road and take a try at Doberman Mine road if you really want to get some!!!!

Edit: Pinkham Canyon on the South side of the park is a nice one for wildlife viewing and gentle full contact with nature, as in desert pin stripes.
