Having run as little as possible in my life, I don't think I could EVER run in a skate shoe. On the same hand I did used to like running in my NB minimal trail runners. Speaking of which, did you know NB makes skate shoes? I absolutely adore mine. I could have their children. If it were legal.

They freak me out as well. I always called them monkey shoes. They make me think of spiders. I like to smash spiders with hammers. You've been warned.

    Ha haa.. Smart ass!

To me, They look un natural as hell. but I guess the same (kinda) could be said for wearing mittens on your hands. Might as well be a pair of standard socks with no way in hell to do do any kind of anything with your fingers.

@crashdb Weird design to me. Are the spacers knurled at all on the ends? I would think they would need to be, to bite into the metal and not move. My 3 pennies of a thought.

I will refer back to my original rant as a reply.

On the same note, ARB is about to lose a customer. Not like you could really find products on their website, or that I really bought a ton of their stuff, but the "help" I'm getting from them right now is laughable.

Nice packing job. But at least I'm ready for more log slinging.

They have vibram rubber soles, are minimalist/barefoot type shoes...might fill the gap, but are made in Chiiii-nuh.

I’m honestly surprised they shipped it like that. On that same note - I’m not surprised you’re the one who received a package shipped like that haha.

I can't either. I don't get how that seemed right to the folks that sent it. Or that the post office even accepted it. Fortunately it only came from NC.

I have to find the video of the Amazon dude that pulled up in my driveway, threw the package out the window, took his picture and left. That's my favorite so far.
