Who all is going to Jambo this year?


I'll be arriving sometime Thursday evening.
Hopefully, I can find a campsite.

 

I'll be there and there is plenty of room.

 

I went last year. While there were plenty of places to set up camp, the actual campsites were full.

... Of course... I arrived on Friday evening.

 

Just find (dont make) a spot off the trail that looks like a decent/safe place to have a fire and you should be fine.

 

Send me a PM with details, I've got room for them on my return trip.

 

I’ll be going, hoping to get down there Thursday evening or Friday morning. This will be my first time attending, grew about 30 minutes from Barnwell Mountain. It’ll be good to see some family I haven’t seen in a while.

I just bought a GX at Sewell. There wasn't a front plate holder installed and I asked if they could install it before I left the lot. The sales guy told me that they don't put them on 90% of their vehicles, especially for "younger people," because they don't like the look. I asked if it was the law and he said "ehhhh, technically yes, but nobody cares." haha. I then asked the finance person and the sales director that they introduced to me because he lived in my neighborhood. Both said most people don't run the front plate anymore.

I'm in the "rather not give them a reason to pull me over" camp, so I asked for the plate holder.

 

Nevermind. Dude wont give them up unless im there in person for some reason. Ill hold out for a local set. Appreciate it though.

 

Yeah I've replaced/rebuilt mine. I wrote a DIY thread on it too. This would have been about 10 years ago. Still running the same starter today. It's not that bad from what I remember. I didn't have that many tools available to me at the time either.

Late to the convo but this is the fairlead mounted flip up licence plate holder I used. Yea it's a little pricey but extremely well made. Came with a free t shirt when I bought mine.

Hey y’all. I grew up in flower mound. I’m in Reno for college right now but I’ll be visiting parents in Fort Worth for a little bit in a few weeks. Gonna go see a rangers game since I haven’t been to the new stadium yet.
Those of you that have been what area in stadium y’all like for seats? Second level left field looks like it could be cool

Without having been to the new stadium I don’t like it cus I grew up with the old one. Many memories and lots of food eaten in the right field all you can eat section.

 

Grew up in Fm here too, graduated from FMHS in 03.

 

They still have the all you can eat; we were there a few weeks ago.

 

Spotted in ft worth on there way to jambo... talked to them for a little....

 

You should’ve asked them when they’re gonna put more money in r&d for their products instead of marketing lol
