Take a look at RecTeq! Industry leading warranty. RT-590 is on sale for $900 right now. I’ve had mine since December and I’ve been really happy with it!

I have checked them out unfortunately I can't find anyone who sells them around me. I read they stopped sales in Canada.

That stinks. But it may be worth a call to them and see if they started shipping north again…

Great choice, you're going to love it! Only thing I'd replace mine with is the new version with the fancy bluetooth controller. I've had mine for 4 years and it gets used at least 2-3 days out of the week. I've never had an issue with it.

I picked up the Pit Boss Laredo from Wally World when they were on sale. It's been a pretty decent smoker for my first pellet pooper. For the money and convenience factor, the Pit Boss smokers seem to be a good choice.

I'm still going to swear by the flavor my WSM puts out, though. :D

You mean the Smoke IT thing? Mine came with it, even downloaded the app, but never had a reason to use it. Kinda takes away from the fun of getting up and checking your meat every so often.

May I present the "Tailgater" size Santa Maria grill. For use with red oak of course.

The lip of the higher side fits just perfectly over the bed rail touching the cab and stays firmly in place. Bungee cords help too.

Nice! Are you from the central coast? I'm a Santa Maria native and it's hard as hell to find these little guys anywhere but the CC. I have the full sized backyard version alongside my pit boss, but I've always wanted the little one to take camping.

SoCal. There's actually quite a few welders that make these around here, but the one from the website I listed seemed the easiest to pickup local. The problem is finding Red Oak! My buddy and I (who has a larger Santa Maria grill pictured below) just want to take his Tundra and bring home a half chord and split the cost.

The small one is perfect for me because I have a family of 3. I can either get a handful of steaks or 2x tri tips on there, while using only 2 logs of wood/fuel (or charcoal if im out). Not to mention if we get a campsite that actually allows this grill, which is more of a challenge since SoCal tends to be flammable.

My neighbor's Larger santa maria takes 4x logs minimum for any cook, but he has a larger family and usually cooks for the neighborhood on holidays.

Pics below because I'm hungry now.
