    from my experience, that kind of build-up happens with lots of idling in hot environments.

    Def working my way back. Its been cooler but driven it a few times and the transmission is much happier now with the new cooler. I just put a new bumper on as well so in general I am getting more airflow and bigger cooler so far helps. I jerry-rigged my new setup. It was looking good but naturally the winch just touched it. With some fitness and mounting the bumper slightly lower it works. Good thing it doesn't flex or it would be an issue. I need a better mount for sure but was able to reuse some of the stock locations and where I mounted my S/C pump.

    also rinsed the radiator since I had the front off. A decent amount of dirt on was sitting in the lower half blocked by the bumper and Likely more still.

    Def digging it. I’ll miss the old one but hopefully it helps. still need to pull my shroud and redo it but so far so good. this and pending e fan I will be shocked if I still have heat issues

    What causes this? Too much cylinder pressure (or foreign object) upon piston movement reducing the volume and then the rod snaps?

    I haven't gotten far enough for the root cause, That's next week.

    I have 3 other motors going on at the same time to complete first..

    Replace a Jasper Reman that failed after 10k miles on a F550, Jasper motors are not what they used to be!

    The F150 with the piston..

    And this Transit that I've been waiting for a Long Block for will over 6 months that I finaly started this morning..

    Anyone guess on what's the cause of the knocking noise?

    Buut most likely the DI was stuck open and hydro lock occured.

    When we were chatting before you noted having one on each side was better. Should I go with the collector instead? Will be putting a new Y on at some point soon That will be the time to decide what to do.

    which fuse plate is that in the corner? buy or make it? I need a narrower one for the same location. I pulled mine out when I installed the S/C and its basically been ziptied (fuse box) for now.

    The primary (front) O2’s should be in the collector of the header, if running headers.

    aftermarket wideband(s) can be further downstream.
