Just was reading some posts about people saying the AC is quiet compared to the regular cab.
Is this a base model thing or something about the build of the access cab?

The noise in ac models is improved in the 2022 over previous years.

Mine seems quite to me and I have ridden in others double cabs and reg cabs to compare. I think it has to do with less surface area inside the cab. Vibrations and noise migrates through the body. So an AC just has less. The older reg cabs were lame on insulation.

I had a 4 cyl reg cab back in the day and it was like riding in a metal tool box. No air conditioning. No auto windows. Strictly a utility vehicle.

    Clazzio seat covers,
The first week I had my '14 AC I took EVERYTHING out ... headliner to carpet ... totally over engineered the sound dampening. Quieter than my wife's '18 Camry ... which I have been told by the way "not to touch".
