I believe they adapted the TTV6 out of one of the lexus sedans as the motor, similar to how the 3G tacos have a revamped Camry motor. AT the very least, the motor will be solid, but the last few truck rollouts show there will be some teething issues for sure. Hopefully a late in the year production unit will mean the biggest bugs will have been worked out by then.

 

At what point does one start ordering Franzia by the drum? Asking for an OP...

Even the Bronco is having motor issues. And it's not a new motor by any means. I say, if you want it, get it. You can't go off what-ifs, and coulda beens. In my many decades of running around the automotive industry I've found that a lot of the crap going around is anecdotal at best. With some of that becoming best practice.

 

With all that space in the toolbox, Randal needs an Overland Teppanyaki Grill!

 

If the box is stainless, just sanitize the interior, add some seals and a aquarium pump and enough tubing to go straight to randy's mouth. Fill with Franzia and let the shenanigans begin.
