Yea, I planned on relocating regardless because both the missus and I have family on the east coast. But I was asked by my current employer to come back and work for them and I forced them to sign a contract that the only way I would do it would be if they set up an east coast location with me running it.

That's really rough, I'm sorry you're dealing with ex troubles as bad as you are, especially with a kid involved :/

If your mom has enough land tho, are you still really living "with" her?

It is a big change! Especially since I grew up just outside the DC area and my VA family are all from the rural po-dunk side of Northern VA around Orange

Roanoke is significantly smaller than the Puget Dound where I've lived for the past decade+. But it should be cultured enough to give me the best of both worlds... "big city lving" with a rural atmosphere

@Running Board Man I still owe you a huge write up on your compressor motor. I haven't forgotten about you, it's just a shit ton of info I've wanted to share and haven't finished typing it all out. Maybe tonight between my shots I'll send it off to you

Somebody in my neighborhood has a Snap-On FX36 listed for sale.

    That's a 36" 3/8 drive extension.

    Only $30.

I can't even imagine what I'd use that for, but at that price it's tempting for the lulz.

i bought a gm master but heard bad things about them. Should I just get a t-100 master/booster combo for a 1 ton setup on an 02 Tacoma?

I don't have a great answer for you, Toyotas didn't come with the overly large brakes found on large american machines. I'm just going disc brake rear so I need something that doesn't have built in residual valving like the tacoma and tundra MC, the 80 series master is designed for disc front and rear but still relatively small brakes compared to say a 2500HD 14 bolt...

I bought my first Mac toolbox (24"W by about waist height) for 50 bucks off a similar kinda sale. Had that shit for 6yrs even though it was 1980s vintage and I bought it in the late 00s. Would still have it if it didn't get stolen
