No, I haven't. I'm speaking about drivetrain though. The 3.4L was exactly the same in both. Silly goose.

3.4 was never in a Camry. Put the pipe down son.

 

Ya know your right, i jumped the gun. guess it was considered to small to power the Camry.

 

Way too much torque. Camry would spin the tires all day. Grandmas would be pissed.

 

then why use a bigger more torquey engine instead? doesn't make sense.

Great engine! Not exactly a powerhouse though. Still have my 1st Gen Taco…my 3rd Gen fricken smokes it, and gets better gas mileage while doing it too.

For a car engine, they do seem to take a harsh beating. Also, some of these guys seem to pour mega amounts of money on modifying them with that car engine inside.

Overall, It seems to be a good car engine I'd say.
