There's doubled sided tape on the Rok Blok which has held up ok (one of the corners is lifting a tiny bit). I've hauled mulch, gravel and other things as well. Install was super easy, trim down the rok blok w/ scissors, wipe down both the bed and snailarmor with alcohol wipes and stick it down.

Cleaning the bed is easy with a quick sweep or hosing it down but now you dont have to worry about stuff falling in between the bed and tailgate area. Here's pics with and without the oem bed mat. The bed mat overlaps it every so slightly.

Ordered a new SnailArmor tailgate cover and it arrived in 1 day, ridiculously fast. Jimmy Jet was more than helpful too and found the part number for the plastic Grommets. Everything worked perfectly, he even included an extra screw, because you never know when you drop one! Thanks Jimmy! I wanted to complete it today, so put a little shoe goo in there. Dealer wanted $2.55 each... which means $2.80 with tax. Below are a few pictures, wife thinks it will take all day, so she is visiting a friend for the day! :) What is a post without pictures, boring! IMG_3448.jpg IMG_3443.jpg IMG_3445.jpg

Installed mine and it came out great. Used the tailgate gap protector to cover the exposed section at the bottom. Worked great, laser cut logo is nice. Great all around.

Just received mine and have the rok blok as well. I was thinking of putting the edge of the roc blok under the edge of the panel. I suppose it will make for a less than perfect fit but thought it might hold the roc blok better. I'll have to experiment before making it permanent.

I didn't get any of the swag though

does anyone have a steel one? Need more rigidity in the tailgate and need to slide a carbide snowmobile ski over it. I feel the aluminum will be too soft and also the HDPE ones dont have enough meat to really prevent the tailgate from tacoing....

You might not want that. I got the snail armor and it's a bit heavier than the plastic one and my gate drops noticable faster and a bit harder.

Did you put the edge of the roc block under panel? How's the fit?

Nope, over top with the edge lined up against the screws. I used the OEM screws with the thought that anything sliding into the bed will have to go up over the raised screw heads and not get hung up on the Rok Block. You cut it to fit and the adhesive is super strong so you only get one chance. I did have to notch out a square where my Sabellco lock was but other than that all went smoothly. 55298BEE-338E-46CE-9020-F8FA4E93B00D.jpg
