    Hey All,
My 2016 started making a howling and some vibration noise a few weeks ago, not bad but noticeable. Gotten worse, not bad at lower speeds, loudest between 55-65. Truck has about a 1.5" lift up front with 1/2" spacer, done a couple months ago. Was at Toyota about a month ago and one of my calipers froze, did order some new ones to put in, just haven't gotten there. Did a lot of reading and seems to be narrowed down to needle bearing/wheel bearing. Have an appointment with Toyota on Wednesday, did call around but most 4x4 shops are many weeks booked. Really don't have the time to do it myself, or knowledge, but will do the brakes. Does this sound about right, bearings?? Any suggestions!
    thanks

Is it a cyclical vibration? The needle bearing is common that Toyota has a TSB (technical service bulletin). There's videos online showing excessive play up and down on the driver side CV axle if that bearing is bad. You could crawl underneath and see if there's play and the vibration improves if you put in 4x4.

Mine has the same after a 1.5" front lift. The lift was done at 6k miles and the vibration started shortly after. I didn't see if there's play, but ordered the bearing anyway. It's a cyclical vibration at 50+ like whoosh whoosh whoosh and it can be felt through the steering wheel and floor.

Thanks! I did put it 4x4 and that did not change anything. Mines a howling/humming sound, steady.
Will find out Wednesday, at the Stealership!!
