I was going to say, before I read the rest of the thread, You need to set your business plan as a health issue. As we age certain things happen that we have no control over. Two things are the effects of gravity on our spinal column and the membrane that surrounds the nerves in the spinal column starts to get hard and shrink. Manual labor at this time in our lives can cause unwanted back problems and pain so a Kubota is simply a way to mitigate possible back pain.

I use the homestead law in my county too. I have said this before, both political parties are coming after us seniors because we are the only ones with money they can grab.

    Mark:
If our paths had crossed in Vietnam, instead of another Lt. Col, I would have probably stayed in the service. But that is also a story for another day, best said while consuming a frosty beverage.

Rained all day yesterday and raining today. Flash floods in effect for my county. I was going to go to the garden center today but with the high of 51 and the low of 42 it can wait.

Wife was off to a girl's week in Hilton Head yesterday. Just us guys at home this weekend. Doing laundry and going to put the netting over the pond today. The Blue Heron is getting more aggressive and it is against the law to shoot them in Maryland.

    Everyone have a great day.

:pccoffee: Good Morning Porch Pals & Gals! Well, with the hard stuff out of the way, it's Putz the list. Got to vote first (support your Senior Citizens!), get some goodies for breakfast tomorrow, and hey, pick up some tacos. Then putz.

Mark, the primary reason you might have needed the tractor, was that it too was orange.

 Tom, not sure what all that means, but I'm re-convinced I need a Kubota Tractor even more. :cookiemonster:

You guys enjoy your weekend! :)

I went the messy cheap route. Premium organic horse manure mix but it doesn’t smell. $50 a yard and turns the soil black when mixed in.

As an observer of marriages/relationships, I too am blessed with a woman that encourages me to do what I want.

We were in Las Vegas at Wynns, and decided to investigate the Ferrari dealership inside the casino. Looking at Maserati, McLaren, etc lightly used cars... There were a couple of GT 40s sitting next to each other... and if any car gets my gonads rumbling it is a GT 40. I leaned over to my wife and said, "We have the money in the checking account, maybe we should make an offer."
What do you think the average wife would say?
Mine gazed thoughtfully at the cars and in a low voice said, "I kind of like the blue one with the white stripes."

She has never denied me anything I want. In fact I have had to learn to not abuse her generous nature.

I like to see what they feed the horses. Here horse manure here turns the soil everything but black.

Plus kills everything in sight. :D

Nope, wasn't implying that at all. Just made me think about how lucky I am. I've been in a horrible controlling relationship that I was most unhappy in. My Betty is the best.

    80:1 odds, you're rich!

    If you bet. :)

We were sitting in a restaurant with friends and the guy said, hey, look, a horse race! Hey, it's the Kentucky Derby!" So we all picked a number and watched the race. Not one of us was in the money!

He was probably excited and feeling good. Maybe the pony was an intact mare, although I doubt it. That's the way horses play, spar for dominance, establish the pecking order, and fight. Hard to say what was going on, but really nothing too unusual.
