And I found a video (accidentally...ok, it was on my YouTube notifications).

This guy puts 800 lbs in the OR short bed and videos the difference. You'll have to FF to the test portion.

Why are there so many complaints with cruise control? It works perfectly fine on my truck.

i feel with my new 2022 TRD SPORT in cruise control, it shifts down and runs at a dangerous level making me want to take back over control of the shifting of the gears again bc it’s like it tries too hard to keep at the speed it was set at… it just doesn’t sound safe to leave it alone! Then after that, it just doesn’t seem to shift accordingly so its not rev’d out so much from its down shifting. I thankfully don’t use cruise control eve ( only my gf does) so it’s just something i thought about in general.

other then that, i think i was just not used to the throttle response in the new truck so it’s just something that i need to adjust to

    Like nuclear?

If it’s not bouncing off the rev limiter, it’s fine.

Like i said, i just have to get used to how it operates… i have a pretty loud exhaust too so it may help with how it sounds as I’m driving which intensifies the noise???

Seeing how many miles I could get out of this tank, 424, probably could of squeaked maybe 10 more.

Yeah I guess the red needles are new? Thought they all had them.

The radar cruise doesn't work with the KD Max Pro + tune. But the normal cruise works good with my tune. It would have to be a steep hill to downshift from 6 to 4. The tune reduces the number of downshifts a lot and makes them a lot smoother and quieter. You will be able to pass cars without a downshift and my truck could not do that before my tune. My truck is now a lot more enjoyable to drive.

Like others have said, let it learn your driving style, one day you will get in and all will be good. I hated the trans until it got yo about a 1000 miles, now i love this truck. And if you hate the mileage, drive it very conservatively and you can do this, oh, stock truck and tires with campershell. 9E992E6F-3DA2-4F5A-B67A-53D36C85148C.jpg
