I did that with my 2012. Some kid in Kanab got a hell of a deal but I needed out of the monthly payments to qualify for a mortgage loan and I had 3 vehicles at the time

 

Ah the memories. A few months after selling, a shop I had used called me asking details on the suspension ... they were fixing it cause the new owner had gotten a little too zoomy in the mountains and wrecked it

We’ll that was an adventure yesterday, on the way there we took the northern most route heading east then returned by heading south then west.

The route in was just passable in a stock truck, we were high cantered on sand a couple of times but thankfully we’re carrying enough speed.
The route out was practically a Hwy in comparison to the route in!

Another amazing day in UT/AZ!

Oh yeah… saw a Californian Condor which was pretty cool!

 

Does the trail have a name?

 

No but the destination was ‘white pocket’.

 

Did you have a good view of what Lake Powell should be from up there?

 

Nah couldn’t see it, when we drove over the dam it didn’t look great.

Heading to Hoover dam next week so it’ll be interesting to see that area.

Just found this gem of a thread. Vinyl factory flooring for 2nd gens. I am inquiring on if these are still available.. looks like a $400 investment. My 10+ yr old carpet needs an upgrade.

They really need to make a vinyl replacement frame. I've never seen any vehicle more prone to truck killing frame damage due to rust.

Love that place, but yeah, the drive in takes FOREVER on that lower route.

 

And then when the church-going neighbor family was packing luggage in their minivan and said "We're going to Zion!" I was like, "Um, y'all mean the national park or...?"
