    1996-JBA upper control arms, replaceable Cardan joint drive shaft, leveling kit, camper shell, trailer hitch... 2001- TRD Supercharged, TRD headers...
    Has anyone twincharged with a supercharger and turbo in here? I saw a 3rd gen 4runner on YouTube where someone did that. Low end boost supercharger then high end boost turbo takes over.
    i dream to do that with Hal tech upgrade and build up internals to really see what the 3.4 can do. One day….

    it can do 400whp on stock internals. Small turbo spool only limited by the converter lockup rpm on autos. Manual probably wouldn't see any change between properly sized twin turbo and twincharged

    I did. 13psi as quick as you put your foot down. Undrivable in the sand even in 4x4, just digs down. Choked up top through the SC rotors even with bypass valve open. Tuned with Fic. Fun, different, expensive.

    Overall I like just turbo way better. Pulls much harder even at just 8 psi.

    Sweet. Expensive for sure, a already have a supercharger so I figured twin charge i can reduce my costs. Maybe one day soon I’ll be able to do some fun shtuff like this

    Ya this would be in the realm of making it a racer, taking it to tracks.
    I wonder if haltech be able to control alternate operating modes? Like having a switch for the twin charge setup, and then one that basically just runs the supercharger in its “carb compliant” ways? Probably not i imagine.

    I’m sure that could be done.
    You would have to setup two different maps in the haltech and a switch to go back and forth from map A to map B.

    Quick update:
    CX is telling me another 6-8 weeks for the manifolds. Gauges have been installed, oil pan is tapped with a return and ready for the turbo. Planning to rough fit the intercooler this weekend. Basically it looks like some poser tuner car now with some go-fast parts but no power lol. Only thing missing is the mandatory monster tach screwed to the dash with drywall screws. Oh and the shift light-spot light for effect.

    Manifolds are installed. Turbo is test fitted, not running yet. Hopefully tomorrow I will be able to start for the first time with the Haltech, I will see how it goes.
