How long did you have to wait for your factory 2022 order/request/whatever it is called?

My build date was 5/5. Vspec stopped working after the next day.
If I don’t hear anything by Wednesday I’ll reach out to my sales guy to see if he’s got the permanent VIN

I doubt it'll happen this week, I believe week 13 builds are finally being built based on other posts in this thread.

Based on my own experience (I'm just waiting for it to show up at the dealer now), 4-6 weeks from build unless you live in the southwest, in which case it's more like 2-4 weeks.

My week 18 build was built this week, and i got a permanent vin ….

 

Week 13 build also. App shows exactly the same for me. Dealer says it got processed in San Diego on 4/29. I hope it is on a train to Chicago by now.

 

Which app do I need to see such updates?

 

Toyota App or VSPEC link. Might not show much right now.....

 

Finally. I was getting ready the watch the Kentucky Derby, because that's life here and I got the message from the dealer that my truck is scheduled for delivery and should be here within the next 2 days. I never got a notification from the app but when I checked, there was an additional mile and the tire pressures had changed. just got home and vspec changed to "G"

honestly its been so long past when it was supposed t o be here, figured it was lost or something.

What was the original ETA?

 

The "original" original eta was 3/28/22. So its just a tad late.

 

I’m a little new to this convo because I just spoke to a dealer and put the refundable deposit down. I had to sign saying that it could take up to eight months. What is the next step? Will the dealer contact me if there is any new info?

 

If you don't have a firm allocation on a specific vehicle/ temporary vin # yet, then they should contact you once they have something solid or you can contact weekly for a follow up.

My order request/ deposit was April 1st, my allocation call from dealer with temporary vin# in VSPEC happened April 27th.

Now just waiting for the build week to commence and wait some more....
