Regarding hand cleaner, my favorite is Goop.
There are some other choices from the list but I stay away from anything pumice. Pumice just on my hands is alright but when I've got grease up to my elbows, that pumice makes my arms itch and irritated much like fiberglass insulation.
Pardon my mess, I installed transmission back in old 4runner today.20220507_210053.jpg

Speaking of vice clamps; I purchased this barrel to replace a 16" pencil barrel that only gives at best a 1.5" group at 100 yards. This barrel had good reviews. But darned if I knew until comparing to my current upper, I'm going to need a different length gas tube :frusty: I would of thought a 16" barrel be carbine length stuff:facepalm:

Lol!!! I hear ya man. I just have boxes of parts now. Just installed a carbine tube in an adjustable gas block last night. Those are THE WORST roll pins! :annoyed: However, a round toothpick fits perfectly through there to get lined up
And the longer the gas system the better
