Getting to the actual lake is a cake walk. We decided to venture of in search of some fun. But getting to lake is easy

I've been to NCHF a few times, loved the 6-8 course brewers dinners where every course was paired with a different beer.
I don't know if they are having it this year but maybe.
Nothing like supporting a beer event for charity so you can boast "It's for the children"
Belong to the the 7 Nuns.
Have you heard of them?

 

I haven't heard of the 7 Nuns Homebrew club. Hoping they can have NCHF again this year. Been canceled the last 2 years so I am missing it. I think it is the best Homebrew event of the year.

 

Not a club.
More like a co-op*, 20 gal all grain setup with a couple ss conicals that let us ferment at any temp.
Our 25th anniversary is in a month.

 

Camped at Prewitt Ridge yesterday till today.

One of the bartenders at The Halford here in Santa Clara took the plunge and went from motivated home brewer to small business owner. Settle Down Brewery in Gilroy. What's nice is they occasionally have it on tap at The Halford. The brewery is in Gilroy. I've tasted their Sumo DIPA which, for a DIPA, is pretty easy drinking. If you didn't know it was 8.1%, you might easily end up drunk before you know it.

 

Had a great turn out on yesterday bowman over 25+ rigs all years makes and models. Here’s a small recap of the run

Just an overnight trip, but it was a good time



Camped at 7000+ feet last night. Bearly any snow on thhe ground... bad for drought... good for wheelin season tho.

 

Just got back from 2 weeks in southern Utah. We basically connected the 3 districts of Canyonlands NP


Spent a few days in the Maze

Hiked from Dollhouse to the confluence.

Yea I saw you go in the water and watched as it went over the front of your hood! I didn’t get a chance to talk with you much. So many people out there it was tough to say hi to everyone and chat at a bit. I only got to make fun of Ruben Papi with you for a minute.
