Daughter sent me a text from Florida, apparently she broke off a hosebib on the side of her rental.
Plumber wanted $1200 to repair it.
It's not even frost free. Told her to look for another plumber. Should be well under $500 imo.

Unfortunately she broke it, how is still an unanswered question.
Landlord just wants to cap it off. On her dime.
Capping it off is the same as installing a new bib. Just extra parts cost.
Looks like it has been repaired before or the previous guy just eyeballed the length and missed.
    Fucking Florida.

    On another note...
I told a customer to get bent and call another company a few months back.
They sent me a work request thru a third party last week and I promptly rejected it.
Today they called and left a message saying they want to talk about it.

That's like a 20 minute repair job max... 1200 dollars? I'm in the wrong trade

Sitting at the bar, and eavesdropping, dude telling his buddy he's looking to buy a house in Redfeather lakes. His budget is 325k.
    Good luck with that bro.

Anyone have a recommendation for someone to drop a rolloff in my driveway for 3-5 days? Something small, 10ish yards or so.

One of these days I’d like to come back to Colorado Springs. Lived there for almost 8 years. Love the views.

But views here are nice, too.

Well living in the Bay area will at least make the housing prices here seem reasonable...
