Need help with old rim

I bought these wheels and just found some at's to go on them. I need them identified to order a missing center cap snd what lug nuts to use, they are different from my 3rd gen, thanks.

 

Need better pictures of the whole rim and all the “writing” on the inside the of the spokes.

 

The seat looks like they should use factory style taper and washer shouldered lug nuts.

 

I eill take better pics and find number on rims tomorrow thanks

You want to run those on your 3rd gen? They look like they've been driven to hell and back.


Before even thinking about fit I'd give them a hard clean and degrease, make sure there isn't any hidden damage.

I am going to clean them up and check for damage, thanks for the advice. Is 40 mm offset ok, i dont know what factory rim offset is.

 

Sorry, 30mm or 1.187 offset

 

Test fit for front caliper clearance 1st

 

Thanks plain, i had assumed it would work, best to fit before i mount the tires.

 

Stock sport rims are +30mm offset. Could be mistaken but I think the stock ORs are also. 30mm should work fine.

Those old daisy rims look pretty tight I'd be surprised if they clear the brakes.

 

Well i done a thing today, i decided i could take the tires off my self, and 3 hours later i had one done. Jawsall, bolt cutters, hammers, pipe clamps, zip wheels and a whole lot of sweat and only one done. I will either get a manual tire changer or pay someone to do it for me, that was total bs, wont do that again. I now have a profound respect for tire manufactures.
