All I can say, is that it's difficult to take a satisfying shower when the water struggles to exit the shower head.

Well that sucks.... it's usually the exception.

 

My well water had sulfur - rotten egg smell and yellowed anything it came in contact with! Chlorine injection followed with softener did the trick, but was a PITA to keep up with both.

 

You can smell the chlorine 4 or 5 times a year here. Never use to. You walk outside in the early morning with no wind and you can actually smell it in the air..
