Another idea, burpess. Do 100 a day. You could obnly do burpees and it would be good. An easy way to tackle mentally is start with doing 4-5 every minute, use remaining time to rest. Build up and then just start doing 100 for time. No thinking involved, "easy"

Does burping after drinking a beer count? I can do 5 of those.

One of the most intense workouts I've ever done included 10x10 at the top of every minute - 10 burpees at the top of every minute for 10 minutes. Burpee variants are nearly unlimited too, there are a ton of them all over the web.

If I were to create a limited equipment workout I'd get a pair of ~25lb kettlebells, and go with burpees and Turkish get-ups as a foundation and add some kettlebell work in there. The kettlebell is super versatile, and a small set, or just a mid-weight pair is enough to get a whole body workout.

Oh I agree and nothing against yoga mats, I'm just thinking about carrying it. The ones I think of are bulky. I just use the extra towel they have at the hotel on the floor. The other thing is weights. I'm not going to put them in and weigh down my overnight bag.

    Perfect!

TY. Any specific bands? I'm not sure but I thought I heard that they are not all the same. Although I also have no idea how they would be much different.

IDK what you guys are all doing for Mother's day but we decided to go to my Mother's house and cook her dinner. We got sea bass and crab cakes from Whole Foods. The fish is on the grill now but I'll tell you guys the crab cakes were very good!

My shed is scheduled to be built on site this Friday - everything is on track so far. I'm really excited to get stuff out of the garage. I got almost 4 tons of stone with a friend's dump trailer and made a pad. I am not 100% proud of how it came out because I didn't make the frame level - just the stone inside it - so it's a little oddly designed. Leveling the frame would have meant going up on the front side too (complicating the ramp for the back door). Or, I would have had to dig in on the front side (putting the "estimated" drawing from my Title V inspection report to the test). I couldn't really go any further from the septic because of setback requirements and a giant hill down to the lower yard. It'll work, it just isn't a good example of how to build a shed foundation.

What did you get for a lawn tractor?

    So, Day 3.

Unlike Day 2, it was uneventful. We left Jackson, TN about 8:30 and headed west on I-40 towards Memphis, crossed the Mississippi River into West Memphis, AR. Signs along the road said 65MPH speed limit strictly enforced "No tolerance." So, I slowed to 65 which is what everyone was doing. Once we cleared the metro area, the speed limit increased to 75MPH for cars, 70 for big trucks. I found that setting the cruise control at 76 actually made it easier to navigate around big trucks and other slower moving vehicles. Odd, but it make the ride less "active" when it came to maneuvering.

The weather was perfect, no rain hardly any clouds at all. Traffic was light being Saturday. Along the way I was cracking lame jokes to entertain my wife. She laughs even if she doesn't think the jokes were funny.

Somewhere between West Memphis and Little Rock we saw a state trooper searching the trunk of a car. The driver was standing at the front of the car while the looked through the trunk. I mentioned that he seemed interested in the junk in her trunk. "Of the car, I mean." That broke my wife up for some reason.

We saw police here and there along the way and the scanner was busy with radio traffic of troopers and other police making vehicle stops. Nothing exiting there. As some point we turned onto I-30 west and looped around Little Rock. I'm not sure exactly where that was since the day was a bit of blur.

Eventually we crossed over into TX and hit the Dallas suburbs. Before that we stopped at the Buc-ees in Royce Texas. My wife had never been before and she wanted to see it. We grabbed some sandwiches and sat in the truck eating. If you ever get the chance to go to one, you should.

A note in TX drivers. They maniacs. The interstates have a 75MPH speed limit, but it's more of a minimum. I had to bump the cruise control up to 78 just to avoid getting run off the road. At that, I was mostly in the right and middle lanes. I spent about no time in the left lane. Apparently, the use of directional signals is a sign of weakness.

Other than the one wreck I mentioned yesterday we saw nothing but a lot of broken down cars and trucks. I always look to see what brand it is, and didn't see one Toyota along the way.

Austin is more crowded than it was in November on our last trip. More buildings going up and the roads are packed. They just can't build new roads fast enough to keep up with demand. Of course the road construction makes the traffic worse, but there was little of it going on because it was Saturday.

Total on the road time was 13 hours again. 754 or so miles and a total of 2,075 by the time we got to the hotel.

We're leaving for the return trip Wednesday or maybe Thursday. The return will be four days with three overnight stays. The same route, but we'll be staying in different cities on the way back. I hope to keep the road time to 10 hours per day, but there is a lot of road construction in every state from TX all the way into NY. That will likely slow us down.

As far as the Tacoma goes, it was great on the road. I've learned how to use the adaptive cruise control which saves some wear and tear on my leg and foot. The seats are comfortable although the last few hours my back started to ache a bit.

I filled up this morning at Costco and when I started the truck, the range was 366 miles. That's pretty good all things considered. Costco has the cheapest gas around, although Murphy (usually located with a Walmart) and the few Walmart stations are very close as well.

That's it. I don't expect to post about the return trip unless something unusual happens. I have to map out the return trip and overnights. Probably the same route, but the overnights will be in or near Little Rock, Nashville, and somewhere on I-81 in VA. Doing this drive in three days ended up with me beat by the end of the day. Those 13 hour days are a slog.

Your post threw me for a loop last night about the septic. I know where my tank is but not the leaching field. Hopefully the town has that info. Based upon where my lawn was replanted before I moved in and knowing the distribution box was replaced I think I’m okay, but better to check. I don’t have any other awesome locations on my property for it but it’s ordered so I’ll have to make something work.

    I got the Deere S240.

I have this from the Title V:

    upload_2022-5-9_8-42-39.jpg

The town has no record of my septic, but the neighbor says it was done in the early 2000s because he remembers his mom did theirs the same year and they bought the house from her. The septic guys suspect it was done as a "midnight operation" without permits because otherwise the town would have a record of a ~20 year old system. They said based on what they see, they think early 2000s is a good estimate of when it was put in.

The Title V diagram and report is only somewhat useful because they aren't sure if it's two 30' trenches and a 12' or if there are additional 30s off of the 12. I didn't seem to hit anything other than soil with the rebar I put in, but if there are additional 30s, I'm cutting it really close to one of them.

I just got my layout as an “as-built”. The location doesn’t match the excavated land, but the leaching field goes away from the shed area. The d-box had been replaced and the location matched the as-built so I have to believe the field is where they say it is.

I visited Texas years ago. 80 was the cruising speed. I believe it is the limit on some freeways.

Fenders need done and I have to scrounge some aluminum to make a support for the chopped sides. Install was fine other than one original bolt breaking off in the frame on removal. Did all stainless new bolts.

Good enough for now - next project is steering loop, but I do want to take the bumper back off this fall and adjust the cuts, especially in the rear corners where it rubs a tiny bit.
