Couldn't help myself after taking on too many scratches on the last camping trip.
Picked up a faux-line bumper off of AMZN. Nothing like having your Dremel crapping out halfway through the cut and finishing with an ugly saws-all. It came out fairly well despite that hiccup.

New lights need a proper switch.

As I already noted, yesterday installed the RCI transmission skid and cat guards, and while pulling off the oem cat guard I noticed the rust water drain from the frame nut holes. Boy was that disappointing. Then noticed the rust on the bolt and on the oem cat guard. SO today installed this setup, I don't know if its durable enough to last, but it was cheep, probably less than $5.00 for parts. What I haven't figured out is where to rout the drain hose for the permanent fitment. If anyone can locate and post a pic of their A\C drain line routing I would appreciate it. That's a 3/8" to 3/8" elbow, and it slid into the drain stubby thing with one finger, I think a 1/2" would fit as well with a little back and forth motion.

Thanks! These are the Icon AAL with the overload spring removed netting ~1 inch of rear lift over stock in my application. I have no qualms with the quality out of the box. We'll see how they perform over time.

I like that bumper and those lights. I've been looking at similar lighting but thought the red might be TOO red, but the red appeals to me, do you like it? Same for the bumper, I'm looking at nearly identical bumper from W4P and I'll need to cut just like you did. Great look!!

Interior lights are Meso dual maps/dome. I leave them on red by default, its invaluable when camping or commuting. It provides light without aggravating my astigmatism or disturbing neighbors. But it's also cool to be able to switch to white if Im working behind the dash or if I drop an earring. :cookiemonster:

Highly recommend cutting with a Dremel and a thin wheel. Had mine not crapped out I would have had a perfectly straight cut in under 20 minutes. It is way less violent than using a body saw or reciprocating saw.:anonymous:

I know. This year it all started with the Footwells along with SS3 pro. Then I was being good until I got the Puddle pods notification and now the V5….it seems like they all tied in well together and the more I tear down the truck the more it gets easier so, why not add more crap while they’re still available?? Just hoping I’m not “sick” or got the mod bug…

Lol I know what you mean. I have the ss3 sports but the pros on my 2015 wrx. I just got the SSC2s reverse/running light installed last weekend. It's always something especially looking in the what did you do to your 3rd gen thread. lol

Lol. Yup, we’re sick. We also just got a 22’ SR5 premium 4 runner. I’m slowly/moderately messing with it. Got the SEMA wheels and grabber ATX when we ordered it right off the bat…
Now, the wait for my V5…

Lol I was saying to myself, I will keep it stock when I got my 20 Trd Sport in May of 2020. That didn't happen, I have to make it my own just like my 2015 wrx. That's nice, I like the 4 runners esp the pro.

She's more of a Rocinante than an Enterprise, but unfortunately the Rozi doesn't like displaying her call letters.

Hey guys, I’m working on setting up my tool kit to keep in my truck so I can get rid of the hard case that takes up too much room. Are these all the sockets I would need for doing most things on my Tacoma? The wrenches I have are 6-19mm.
I just need metric and not anything like 3/4 right?

Everything is coming out of this Stanley kit.

keep in mind it’s a work in progress.

Nice! I’ve been debating on getting the Lockerdown, I had one in my Silverado. The downside is I would lose the console dividers that I have in it.

Decided 12VDC was needed in the bed for my fridge and awning lights…something Toyota should have done from the start of you ask me.
Ended up running 4ga wire from the main battery so I can eventually run a second battery in the bed. Bus bar fit perfectly on the back of the cubby. E76D2B8F-FFCE-47EA-94C8-F1F48737D1B8.jpgCD3DB2D2-6DB9-4447-BF4F-946383382C02.jpg

Specs on your SCS and tires setup? I'm looking at BR6 16X8 Bronze but they only have 3 qty. So the Gun metal is my only choice right now.

I actually got my wheels from Freeman Toyota in TX online. I'm in PA, but my specs is 17x8.5 -10 on 265/70 tires, I had these tires from my previous wheels so I'll just use them for now and they were before my lift. I'm still happy how everything looks though.
