The "Tessa transformation" of the Taco begins. RTT sold Sunday, batwing is on Marketplace, cargo basket ordered, and looking for a good storage box for the rack. I guess we're never really done...

Did you ground tent this past trip? it looked like you were drying out a tent in your garage.

 

It's not something I wanted to do, but Tessa will be too big to share that with me, 'cause I'm such a small fella. I could get her in easy enough, and probably out easy enough, but if she were to stretch out while sleeping she could easily rip the tent with her nails. My tent has enough room for me on a cot (because getting off the ground isn't as easy as it used to be) and her kennel. And the truck is a bit lighter now.

 

I bought a large cabin style tent as a way to escape the rain and hangout in but there was no escaping the rain. I woke up Friday to rain and a wet RTT so I shoved my bedding into the Tundra to keep it dry because once I packed up a wet tent I figured it would seep into all of my bedding. The cabin tent stayed dry from a water intrusion standpoint but just got wet and dirty from us going in and out. So we packed up and went to a motel lol

 

Whose got an ultraguage...and uses or would like to use in conjunction w/ Ram ball mounts and/or the Taco Garage DMM??
