How much would it cost to fix the frame on this?

How much would it cost to repair just the frame and what are my options?

It still runs and drives and I am aware of the price for replacement parts. I really just want to know what are my options for repairing the frame. I'm not opposed to pulling out the frame and doing a little hammering either.

Call dealer and see what a new frame costs. That one looks un-straightenable. I think that one would require Jesus.

 

You'd be better off replacing the entire frame and building it up from there. Don't forget to factor in salvage title resale problems, trying to obtain insurance with a salvage title issues, part shortages, paint labor, ect. If it were me I'd just buy a new truck.

Frame might not be that bad. It’s the body that is sitting on it that’s toast.

3rd gens are everywhere, you would be better off finding one that don't look like this. Had this been a truck that was rare that would be a different story.

This reminds me of the other day a few weeks ago. I was behind three different Tacomas that all looked fine except that the rear end would track a foot or two to the ride side when going down the road.

Pass on that. That’s not even a hard pass, that’s an easy pass. You’ll have more money and time in it than it’s worth and it’ll never be the same as a new one or even a used one that hasn’t been wrecked.

 

A good detailer might be able to buff that out. Although, there would probably still be some imperfections, if you looked too close.
