OFFROAD or SPORT? Why?

Depends on your purpose. They both have good/bad depending on perspective/purpose.

 

I chose the OffRoad, because that fake hood skewp looks retarded on a Tacoma.

For me, that was being nice. I held back.

 

Want to off road? OR
Want to drop panties? Sport

 

I bought an OR and put a scoop on it. Best looking truck out there.

 

For the money I feel like the Offroad brings more benefit to the table than the Sport which is mostly an appearance package. I have a Sport because I wanted an access cab and a manual and you can't get that with the Offroad package.

 

I couldn't do fake hood scoop and would go offroad.

If you dont need the locker, scoop, or manual transmission, save yourself some money and just buy an SR5

 

Want suspension that isn’t a marshmallow? There are reasons for each lane. It is best to actually drive both and decide for yourself what YOUR likes and needs are. Same rule for LB/SB, color, package level, etc.

 

OR if you want a factory locker. Sport if you want to put a light bar in the useless skewp.

 

I saved more and bought a SR AC V6 4X4 with SX package.

Sport for the hood scoop so you can swap on here it for $1000 and buy lockers

 

Yes. OR is like a classic Lincoln and the Sport is more attuned to a road car.
I actually have Sport Shocks/springs and air dam on my OR. I used to highway ALOT and world of difference. It’s a little tighter off-road, but I’ll forgive that for not floating on-road.

 

Got an OR because that was the only Taco my dealer had allocated but unspoken for.
