The liquid line going to the dryer... I'm going to guess that's what you need because that's what everyone needs

He'll be broke in a few months. Unfortunately as it is, I myself was in that position when I first got mine as I listened to people on here.

Best advice Id have for him is a cheap spacer lift if he wants it just for looks and some cheaper but still new/new to him wheels to personalize it. I wont post that in there though as Ill get chewed up by the purists for suggesting something as blasphemous as hockey pucks.

I mean hockey pucks do legitimately suck and you know that enough not to post it even. But yeah some rancho quick struts or whatever would probably be pretty decent for a first truck and I think they're only like 150 bucks a piece they might even be less

Id think some of wheelers pucks (less than 2") and a set of 4600's or some KYB's wouldnt be too bad. Lots of people use em for sure.

Its the procomp/rough country shit that most teens go for that I wouldn't suggest. I spent way too much on a lift kit that was just for looks when something like what I said above wouldve been fine for me.

The only reason why I'll never recommend spacers is because they make your bump stops not work and if you can't bump out the coil bucket takes the entire load. You even take some fire roads too fast and you'll bottom out on stock springs and before you know it you'll have blown out a piece of the truck that you can't easily put back

hahahaha I've had a few lengthy conversations with people about stuff like that.

Ideal? No, but you can still wheel plenty of places all the same.

I think the most fun per dollar I've had was with welded diffs and cheap tires. You can spend more and be on the same trail lol :notsure:

Again, its all in how you use it. For a pavemet princess its not gonna make a difference. The dude may be on the east coast and 6 hours from the nearest fire road that you could do more than 15 mph on (like me)

Yeah I forget over half the country is pointless sometimes. But I'm sure your roads suck, ya know, cause you're on the east coast. And a good pothole will still kill a coil bucket

    4 run, 2 don't
    Fuck me I'm exhausted.

Got me a small lemon tree, so dug out a deep as hole and planted it.

Then put a small barrier for the front yard to keep people from allowing their dogs on our lawn. Already got 1 small brown patch from all the urine killing a corner of the grass :annoyed:

Its a never ending battle man. My current issue is the mailman driving into my grass after pulling away from the mailbox. Gotta big ugly rut on the corner of my driveway. All they gotta do is cut the wheel a little tighter but they wont care enough if I say something.

One option although shitty and sarcastic as it may be is just to let weeds take over, then the dog piss issue seems to go away. Crabgrass is immune to anything haha.
