    Ok, today is the day I'm going to rebuild my rear leaf pack, keeping my main leaf & building off it with FORD springs (huh? go figure )pics up later, I've been told by a few that it won't work, HAA, absolute BS it won't work solving my lift & soft springs... pics later

    Here is the first of many, break lugs loose before lifting..

    Drop your spare also, you'll need to....

    You need to support the truck (jack stands) & the axle (floor jack)

    You'll want to disconnect the brake line & loose the bottom of rear shocks....

    A cheater bar helps a ton with breaking the U bolt nuts loose....

    I rebuilt my springs today, bringing them back to life with the addition of 2 leafs off a Ford & gotta say, didn't expect the lift I got, a solid 3" !!!! I now drive a stink bug .....:eek::eek::facepalm::facepalm:

    I havent really got one yet Ryan prolly tomorrow but I'm thinking its closer to 3.5" seeing how my 5100's are already set at max & now the rear dwarfs the front, feels like I'm driving down hill....:eek::eek:

    Yeah, going the cheaper route, I'm leaning towards some Eibachs they seem to be a better fit than the EMU's for 5100's from all the info I got

    Yeah I'm always looking for positive alternatives, but mostly I'm hands on for about 95% of my trucks needs (tire machine next..;))

    I was the same way with my 72' Power Wagon 30 some years ago, but I really enjoy trying out diff. MOD ideas on my 'taco.. ;):)
