A jackass kicked my dog a few years ago claiming she was attacking him. Anyone who has met Sydney knows that is completely untrue. Some people are just garbage.

Our inherited dog from my deceased father has Cushing's so we understand all the liver crap.
On a side note apparently I'm gonna have to start running coyotes off at the house. One was ballsy enough
to get 50 feet from the front porch last night.......

Do they have mange? (I think I spelt that right?) that’s the only time we have seen them get close out at my grandparents

 

The wife caught it slinking up to the trees out in front from of the front porch. I didn't get my eyes on it personally but they have always been in the
wooded areas around. Pretty sure they probably got the goslings that were on my neighbors pond a couple weeks ago that disappeared suddenly.
I checked the trees out front with my "home defense pistol" if you know what I mean. Not the best sign if they are getting that bold.....

 

No it’s not usually from my experience they have mange or some other disease or starving and are desperate to get well anything we have had to take care a few of those in the past

 

I have heard that they will try to trick smaller dogs into coming with them back to the rest of the pack... for snacks...

I'm surprised they haven't been more evident out where you are. Between owls and coyotes, the country is a rough place for small animals.

Between Hawks and the above mentioned, I'd say totally correct. Luckily my dog (Ming) does his business and comes right back.
Considering he just turned 16 this weekend he definitely is on the retirement program.

Some people just need a round to the head at birth. The only benefit a 'total recall' scenario would be good for. Some people just want to spread their unhappiness to make them feel less alone. I'm so sorry for what happened, have any of your neighbors ever expressed anything negative towards animals that you saw?

Most likely they are just getting comfortable. We had a huge pack years ago take down a horse. So we drug what was left of it to a field where we set up lights and could view it from the porch. Every 30 minutes we would turn the lights on and get 5-7 of them with our rifles.
