I just got mine painted from red to black last week. Don’t know why it took so long when my dad and brother own a body and paint shop, and I work in the office next door. Glad to finally have it color matched tho. Also got it detailed and it’s like a new truck again.

There's a guy who lives behind us who does body work, he told me he would paint the one on my 1st gen for $200 or $250 if I took the windows out, I never got him to do it cause I paid $350 for the shell. Just couldn't bring myself to do it and didn't really care about it being mismatched.

Customer brought the first drum I made back today, these are hard 3/8” dowel pins

They wore the drum too, boss wants me to put hardened bushings in it to repair it.

I’m so glad I get paid by the hour.

My wife came home from the hospital Sunday around noon. :bananadance::bananadance:
Saturday I got my neighbors yard all down and my front and side yards. I was wore out after since I had been at the hospital all night friday after work and maybe got 3 total hours of sleep in the hospital chair.
Sunday I finished up did my back yard. All the mowing is done!
then I spent the next 2 hours bolting and unbolting the new wiper transmission for my MIL's 2012 Chevy Equinox. I spent forever scratching my head, tweaking things and putting it all back together only for the wiper to either try to wipe the engine or stop halfway up the windshield. I finally got the motor arm positioned right and then cycled it a few times while it was unbolted to try to visualize the wipers. then I realized one of the wiper arms was flipped the wrong way. 8th times the charm. Put it all together and now she's good to go. Chevy really dropped the ball designing this thing. Who uses plastic bearings to hold something important together, like your wipers. It failed in the middle of a rain storm... At least the new one has a lifetime warranty.
