The speed limiter is easily adjusted or eliminated in the tune and vF Tuning support is coming for the 2.7l Tacos.

It took me a bit to figure out the gearing site. There are others also. I just happen to like that one. You just enter that data, Copy All to the second column, change the diff ratio, and compare. If you hit the Save button at that top when you are done, it will set a cookie so that you can come back to the same data that you saved.

Otherwise, a spreadsheet can do all of the same stuff.

Thanks, can’t wait for 2.7L tune, do you know if it also requires premium gas?

Most all of the existing vF Tunes have either dedicated Reg and Prem tunes or Octane Learning tunes. With the Reg or OL tunes, you can run anything and there are some benefits on the 3.5l and 4.0l to running 91+. With the Prem tunes, you need 91+.

Now, the potentially bad news. vF is not going to be selling Software Bundles after that releases. He is going to have the Pro tuners do that. And, it was also said that he will not be selling TunePacks to non-Pro folks either. That last one is a potentially big wrench for you guys. It might be worth checking this week about jumping in early?

    Hey, Folks.

vF was updated yesterday and added two more 2.7l ECUs: 04A90 and 04B70. Can anyone help identify what Tacos they belong to?

As noted, there are only four ECU IDs currently supported and we know that two are the old ones for the 2016 and 2017 ATs. I'm looking for info on the two new ECU IDs.

It would be help if folks pulled their ECU IDs. The Carista and OBD Fusion apps will do it, as well as TechStream and the vF software. Also, some handheld OBD scan tools at autoparts stores will.
