Think the cam bolts get bent from more then just impact. I know mine don’t have any direct impacts but they are very bent from frame flex and rough road driving. The 1/8th mounts are brutal and in general the stock stuff gets pushed pretty far when you start using bigger tires and what not.

Understood  I was referring to @Norilsk's case where the cam bolt area is already reinforced with the Marlin ring doubler. It's been shown to hold up to 40s on bigmike's truck, unless it takes a direct hit to a rock lol

Just the pedal height is much lower compared to the break. I can do it but requires dislocating my ankle first to be able to get the angle right. Probably will look into a pedal extension of some sort in the future.

Yeah ive been cruising kijiji off and on. Nothing with enough back spacing for me that ive seen yet

My turn signals don't work when braking. I have aftermarket led taillights and signals/bulbs work but there is a resistor. I also connected a led strip to the trailer plug and it has the same issue. I'm wondering if this is strictly a limitation of the LEDs or if there's an issue with how the truck handles this.

I know @3JOH22A will have the right answer because he always seems to.

So today I was (yet again) at Sumin Auto with my knocking/rattling/cracking suspension noises when @Zephranthes showed up for an alignment after making his taco showroom sweet and he gave me this (note: he made it to look similar)
    Thank you

I think it is intended to contact the floor at WOT. The ribs on the back of the pedal have a raised point. Toyota's 2010 pedal entrapment recall instructions specifically said not to trim away the raised point.

It may be easier to bolt two sheets of 3/8" UHMW (for 3/4" total thickness) to the pedal face.

:notsure: You've run the LED tail lights for more than two years right? Did the issue just pop up?

On the trailer plug, the brake light pin is shared with the RH turn signal, but the LED strip should blink if you have RH turn signal on while braking.

In all honesty, I never knew or checked before. No one said anything and the only test I did was checking signals and brake but not both together. You have similar lights, does yours work?

So the blinkers in your gauge cluster work normally when you brake, but the outside turn signals don't?

Check the polarity of the brake light and turn signal plugs going into each tail light. Maybe one of the two is flipped. A stock filament bulb doesn't care about polarity, but an LED would.

My tail lights work fine, but they have separate banks of LEDs for brake lights and turn signals.

Yes, blinkers work fine everywhere front and back but just not in the rear while braking. Front is fine regardless, cluster is fine. I believe the lights are led panels vs single bulbs. As such they can't be replaced or rotated.

There is still the stock bulb socket. However, instead of a bulb, the tail light has a pigtail with a plug insert that is the same shape as the bulb base. You can flip the plug insert 180 and try. Match ground with ground, etc
