It wouldn't surprise me if that is the limit in west TX.

Texas is huge. When we crossed the Red River in Texarkana, we still had almost five hours travel time to Austin.

Don't look too close... They rub a little and I need to go get some more clips to reattach the "cap" on the passenger rear corner.

I was thinking that too but I think it might be the angle so it doesn't look as wide

El Paso to Beaumont is 13 hours. North to south I don't know the town names but it's about the same north of Amarillo down to the bottom.

I just looked it up, you would have to drive a little over 16 times north to south in RI to equal the east to west distance in Texas!

I think mine does look a little wider but was told it's the same. For a second I thought of having Joel cut bend and reweld but I'm lazy and really don't mind the way it lines up. I like it.

A friend of mine who grew up in Texas and has lived most of his life there told me that in the old days the saying was that a baby born in Texarkana would be rolling his own cigarettes by the time the wagon got to El Paso.

I've seen a number of areas in Texas, but have never been to west Texas other than Amarillo. Maybe someday.

I shouldn't like that post, because that would be a brutal commute. But that would be over 750 miles a day, which would be really impressive, especially to not leave this tiny state!

I've been to other countries, yet i don't think I've been further west than NY in this country. Eventually I want to see Texas, Arizona, Hawaii, maybe California if I'm feeling brave.

    El Paso is cool.

Otherwise it's flat, ranches, and oil. And it stinks. And then you end up in New Mexico.

Honestly stick to the hills and east, and you're golden. Hill country is phenomenal.

I love the Hill Country. I could live there, but I think it's mostly too rural for my wife.
