Question.. the work you did awhile back, was that all front end or rear as well?

 

Not Duan, then. He's got a 3rd gen with a cap.

 

Yeah, didnt you just replace your front end?

 

It was front lower control arms, tie rods, shocks/struts replaced front and rear, drivers cv and transmission to cv output seal...and then put new tires on it

 

Could be a seized caliper like you speculated

 

I haven't done this stuff in a while, but I agree with Mark. Check the front calipers, especially the side it was pulling on. Anything smell hot? If the caliper is froze, you'll smell the brakes heating up. Don't ask me how I know.

 

Just use your skidsteer as a lift, yet another good use for it

 

Grapple that thing and pick it up. Wanna see pix of this.

 

Use the skid steer to put the car on its roof. Puts the wheels at a good working height.

 

And here I was thinking how I could move my woodshed with the little guy and maybe a neighbors tractor.

Might just try to put it up on the neighbors 2pt lift, but call me crazy, I know

 

I know the guy selling this trailer. I thought about it for a minute as a camper / tent build, but it really wouldn't be feasible, especially with a dog. But it might make a good trailer for around the house or woods for you guys with some property. It has "boggers" on it now, but he has the military tires to go on. Pintle hitch. Asking $800 with the military tires. Not certain if he'd sell with the boggers.

 

More importantly. Is the Wendy's sign included? You know what the approximate size is?

 

I doubt he's going to part with Wendy. I'll ask, but I'd guess about a six foot bed length based on tires.

You know that camping gear you didn't have room for would work quite well on this. Fab in some short sidewalls and cargo net, and you're out of her hair for a few days. Wouldn't work here either.

 

It's more that we don't have anywhere to put it.

 

Just leave it hooked to the Jeep. Just don't back up a lot. And that was a thing here too.

 

Those short trailers are a bitch to backup with. Same with my 7x4 trailer, I need to move the axle back since I added a foot in length to it a couple summers ago. Or blow it up and make it a 6x8 so I can at least see it start to jackknife in the rearview mirrors.

 

But that's half the fun of owning a trailer!
