Honestly, I just gave up on trying to stop the dog-hair tornado. I have neoprene seat covers and I built a platform over the jump seats (access cab) for her. I make a bed out of 3-4 moving blankets for her and she's happy as can be back there. Life's too short (and dogs are too cool) to worry about the fur getting everywhere.

Open all of the windows at highway speed and the hair will disappear

Incorrect. Open all 5 windows and somehow the hair swims upstream and collects all over the dash. My instrument cluster looks like its going three different speeds simultaneously. Gotta remember to read the red needle and not the white ones.

Yes! Just amazing dogs! This is my first and what a ride it’s been. So sweet, so smart and so crazy all at the same time. Never experienced a dog so in tune with its surroundings.

As of right now they both rid in the back seat, but as soon as our first born comes in July, they will be put into the softopper for trips around town. My wifes 4Runner will be the primary roadtrip car for all 5 of us later on.

Leaf blower takes care of what’s left but most goes out the windows.

Front passenger seat, footwell. Also entire back of access cab. Lab hair EVERYWHERE. Keeps picky riders out of my, uh, hair.

I use a blanket on the backseat. Anyone with a rottie will know their fur is like barbs though and penetrate the blanket. Any rottie fur removal tips would be appreciated :) might get a seat cover one day

I finally, finally but the bullet and got a set of PVC clazzios. The seat hammock just didn't contain it. On my last week-long trip it was the hammock on top of the clazzios.

Interior vacuum and wipe down after that trip took a single hour. That's easy better than my previous six hour afternoons of vacuuming, lint rolling, vacuuming some more, bisselling the seats, then more vacuuming and rolling.

Seriously the best purchase I made, I regret not doing it sooner.

Next up, my third hammock is starting to show it's age after only a year and a half of use. Might be time to find one that's a little more hardcore.
