Are there any bigger sidewell storage boxes for the truck bed?

So the storage bins for the sides of the tacoma truck bed are kinda small. I noticed while adding a locking lid to one of those bins that someone could make a deeper bin since it sits behind the wheel well.

Does anyone make a bigger deeper storage bin to fully utilize the empty space behind the wheel well?

Somebody makes a replacement metal (aluminum I think) box but I don't know what size. Saw a link here on TW. Sorry, all I got.

Damn that’s terrible. How far does it stick out of the sidewall compared to the original?

Oh that’s not what I meant. I mean, in the bed, does it stick out from the side wall? Like if you had other things in the bed would it get caught on it

Man being able to fit more than just a couple ratchet straps is really appealing. I wonder if you spray painted it with some Rustoleum if it would help with the rust

I'm sure it would, it's not normally that dirty, spent 9 days two weeks ago out in Utah off roading, if I get some time today I'll clean it up and see what it looks like clean and dry..... I put that stuff in there and honestly hardly open it, jack, wood blocks for elevation, funnel and extra gloves.....

Any problems with the long hinge at the bottom? Seems like that could be the weak point

I've had zero issues other than the lock getting a little difficult to put the key in, use graphite once in a while, you can see in the picture, I have the lock cover on it, but it doesn't seal it, just reduces the water and dirt intake...
