    Hey guys,

I got my Bilstein 6112/5160 installed yesterday along with a progressive 3-leaf AAL and my truck looks, rides, and feels just how I wanted it too!

I have been in the market for some 255/80r17 Toyo AT3’s but several of my contacts say they’re not projected to receive any in the near future at least. So I been looking at my 285/70R17 options and I like the C rated KO2’s the most, but I’m open to others input. While looking at BFG’s website, I see the difference is speed/load rating and either white outlined lettering or without. Between these two modes below, which is more ideal for a Tacoma that spends about 70% road miles & 30% off-road?

I’d go with the set that’s a bit cheaper. They both are C load, both have the same load capacity at 50 psi. I have the 285 70 17 KO2s in C load and really like them. They are tough, with great weight. I get good mpg running them and they look great.
I picked mine up from a guy swapping out his tires on his Rubicon, he went to 37s right away. I picked up 5 new tires for around $800.

Thank you Dave for the input, there’s a pretty big keep dealer near me that moves a lot of units; I think I’ll have a look at local market places and see if I can score a deal. These C rated 285/70r17’s seem to exist for Chrysler/Fiat based one what I read in another post here on TW.

I'd say go with whichever one is actually available, given they're essentially the same tire (only difference is speed rating). DTD seems to carry the Q tire, so that would be my pick I suppose.

Just got home and looked and I’m running the Q tire. 285s and I can still get 17 comb mpg and 19 mpg on long highway drives.

For a while Ford Raptors came with the 285 C load KO2 as well.

IIRC, S-rated was the oem model(Jeep?) and is discontinued.
