We need to go Brushy Mtn Motor Sports Park before it gets too hot. I've never been but have heard great things about it.

Chipping away at the Yamaha wiring in small steps. I figured building a battery box and mounting it will determine where and how I’ll route the rest of the components and wires. So that what I did today. Still need the tie-down hardware and mounting tabs. I’ll do that once I settle on a location in the frame.

Anyone recommend a tire pressure guage that fits in tight places? The rim is so small and the rotor so big on my new Tracer 9 that I can't get one in there. I bought a right angled one today and it is still too long.20220508_155526.jpg

I use a right angle adapter and then a normal pressure gauge. I think I got a 2 pack on Amazon for like $7 and keep one with each of my gauges.

First tire change have 90 degree valve stems installed

That's my plan. I'm buying a set of 45 and 90 degree extenders just for checking (won't leave them on) and will swap the front stem for a 90 degree later on. The rear is fine. Just that front one is almost behind the rotor and between two tight spokes.

I just use the normal pen sized mechanical gauges.

I know your pain. Yamaha FJR1300 front wheel with dual discs is a real bear to check until you swap out the valve stem. I would swap both just to keep them the same but that's up to you.

Started working on the track today. KTM fired right up and I ripped it around a little bit. Backyard is way too small for a full size bike but I have a lot of logs that I can use to setup a trials course.

I am trying to convince my coworker to get a mini bike because he has 2 acres. Then we can each have our own track.

    None... yet.
Hell, I've found that even among riders, there are quite a few that aren't really "into it" or don't know that much about it. I usually try to stop talking when I see their eyes glaze over and they start staring anywhere but at me...

I’m curious to hear your thoughts on it after some use. I don’t like helmet mounted cameras either, but the problem I’ve heard from various places is that constant vibration tends to damage the image stabilizer on a lot of cameras, specifically phone cameras. So your pictures and videos have constant motion blur. I’d imagine its a problem with trying to cram such a delicate device in such a small package where the bulkier cameras like GoPros haven’t reported as much of an issue.

Ended up behind a school bus for a few minutes on my way to work this morning and 4 or 5 little kids seemed to get a kick out of my bike. Pointing and waving and what not. Not sure if they could hear, but I held my gears a little longer and revved it up for them haha. Made my morning.
