Would be a nice feature if you could use BOTH switches but why? Makes it pointless to turn on bed lights from cab... What's your reasoning? Matt Gecko includes a switch to install in the bed but I opted for a dimmer from Amazon. We sleep in the bed so a dimmer is a must have.

Not original poster but I have the same bumper. They are NOT reliable recovery points on the DV8 bumper. I about ripped my entire bumper off trying to break suction on a T4R in the mud.

TRD emblems, tinted windows, OEM running boards, AVS vent shades, RMAS upgrade, LED lights in front and rear, interior LED lighting upgrade, LED lighting in bed, touch control dash mount for LED lighting, auxillary 12v and USB jacks in bed, replace all speakers with Infinity, custom mod with Bose tweeters, TRD Pro illumination mod...
Not the OP but I can tell you I have 3 ways of turning on bed lights. From inside the cab as one of 6 aux. light switches in the left side cubby, remotely with a 4 channel remote fob and from a switch in the left side cubby in the box.

Not what I did, but what my son did to my truck. His basketball net is close to where I park and unfortunately his ball sometimes bounces off the truck. I can feel some of you cringing already, but I've only got a couple years at most of him still at home, so I'll grin and bear it. Anyways, he knocked a small piece off the side mirror, or at least loosened it so it could fall off while I was driving and is lost forever. Part #? And I know I could upgrade, but I'll wait until it's out of danger first. Thanks.

Don't think there is a part number for that sold as an individual piece.

I actually just gave mine away from my spares. All I have left is the passenger side

What about the 4WP bumpers, do they have reliable recovery points on them? This is the one, its got a winch mount plate on it, hoping the whole bumper stays on the vehicle during a recovery.

I think that is pretty much a rebranded Body Armor bumper. Mounts the same way as the DV8. Recovery points are pretty but that's about it.

Edit: After looking a little more, it looks like that bumper may be all one piece and may be better than the DV8.

I do believe that gets replaced with the meso pods. I’ll have that off my truck when I put the pods in, your welcome to it if you want

That's what I did, I figured I'd never need one light on and not the other and it's one less extra switch I had to find a spot for

Not pointless. If you noticed when you unlock the truck the cargo lights turn on and when you turn your truck off the cargo lights stay on. If youre unloading your bed at night you have a some lighting. you can even hit the unlock button again to keep the light on and obviously hit the switch inside as well. For me that would benefit me.

Thank him for the excuse to upgrade? Sold out at Meso, but still available at some vendors.

From the screenshot posted, it looks to be low quality. I love the fit and OEM look, but tbh not worth it if the quality sucks. Then again, it's better than not having one.

between this and the Garmin, I would go the Garmin, route. If you have the powered rearview mirror, you can get an adapter that plugs directly into the Garmin and it's so small, that it sits perfectly. The Garmin has better quality.

For myself, I'm getting the Street Guardian SG9667DC2K. It's more involved with wiring, it's 2 channel (front and rear) and has parking mode. Not my favorite form factor, but quality and reliability over fit and looks.

Very good point. For that reason alone I'd agree it isn't pointless, now i have more work to do.. lol
IF the only point was to turn on from cab and have to turn off again from cab, that would be pointless...
