    Tube steps, Vision Turbine wheels, bug deflector, seat covers, and tonneau cover
    With my tune it normally will stay in 6th for a small incline. RPMs stay up better so it doesn't need to downshift. It would take a big hill to ever go to 4th. The shifts are much smoother with the tune.

    On Regular cruise—yes, works great.
    On Adaptive cruise—no, works the same as before because we don’t have access to those shift maps in vftuner.

    On trucks with Adaptive/radar cruise, you have to hold the on/off button for 3 seconds to get to Regular cruise control.

    I had the cruise on, but not adaptive. I was on a stretch of road with only slight to moderate inclines. I don’t know the exactly how much longer it held, but I set the cruise at 74. Before the tune it would go from 6 to 4 with a clunky hesitation in between. I am sure that it would shift to 4 on a steeper hill but it appears that it is shifting 6, to 5, then 4…so much smoother.

    I did the vF 1.6.1.5822 update.
    There is 2 new 2.7L ECU's--04b70 and 04a90.
    Still missing a few maps for the 2.7L tune in Vftuner.
    But there are throttle maps and shift maps for the 2.7L.

    Had the privilege to tune Kyle McDonald 2019 Tacoma. Beautiful truck on 2” lift, 33” tires, and bed rack. Kyle complained of “gutless” power and the crazy shifting these truck have especially one this heavy.

    After tune and test drive “Wow feels like a totally different truck”.

    Kyle and his son Hampton all smiles and thumbs up after KDMAX Pro + Sport throttle tune!

    2.7L Tacoma info

    On the 2.7L Tacomas we have a KDMax-Pro tune. It is a beta but we have a few trucks running it and enjoying the improvements.
    NOT all trucks are supported. We only have 4 files in VFtuner.
    04a21, 04a22, 04b70, 04a90

    But so far this is what we know.

    ECU ID List so far:

    -- 2016 and 2017 AT: Current 04A23 - Older 04A21 and 04A22 - TSB-0079-15 to update to 04A22 **
    -- 2018 AT: 04A90 **
    -- 2019 AT: 04B60
    -- 2020 AT: 04B70 **

    ** Supported in vF.

    I am sure it would be worth a try. That engine tranny combo in the auto is horrible in 3rd gen. It could only improve it.

    Ok, short notice trip planned to Birmingham, AL May 12th to accommodate a KDMAX Pro tune. Was heading to TN for a short vacation and had some interest from the area to get tunes done.

    I currently have one commitment with two others thinking about it.

    I can do a max of four (4) in the time I have available before heading on to TN.

    So If possible and there are others that are thinking of getting tune, here’s a great opportunity! I would like to get 2-3 more signed up before 14:00 tomorrow.

    The tune event will be May 12th at the Drury Inn parking lot starting at 0730 through NLT 1230.

    The Hotel is located at 3510 Grandview Parkway Birmingham, AL.

    I’ll need truck information sheet filled out for all of the trucks and back to me NLT 2 pm tomorrow to get all tune files from KDMAX.

    Been running the kdmax 6.0 the since it came out and was wondering if all the hype over this new pro tune is worth the upgrade. I've been more than happy with the 6.0 premium tune and max throttle response and don't wanna waste the time/money to switch to the pro just to not like it as much. Also curious why so many tuners have completely stopped tuning kdmax tunes

    The KDMax-Pro and Pro+ is an improvement over the KDMax 6.0. All the improvements are listed on the first post.

    Some of the other tuners are selling competitors' tunes.
    We believe that all of the tunes out there are an improvement over the stock tune.

    Our customer service and commitment to selling KDMax tunes is what our group is all about.

    I was running 6.0 for 6 months or so. I was not happy with how it still bogged when coming out of a corner. I was also not happy with it shifting at 57-5800 rpm 1-2 at WOT. Both of these issues are resolved with Pro+. Also, while driving around, it feels alot more "OEM" rather than aftermarket tune... if you know what i mean (it's smoother / less jerky). Low end torque (2000rpm ish) feels much more like a 1GR than the 2GR ever did (this is a good thing). Definitely an improvement.
