Same here, my elbow stays put on the armrest the majority of the time, simple little flicks to change gears.

How big was the Hollywood studio? 25’ by 40’? 16 yards of black cloth and 2700 pounds of sand.

Sport was the only option that allowed me to "order" a v6 AC MT. I was not willing to compromise on any of those 3 options so I chose the sport. If I could have had those options on a OR or Pro then I would have chosen one of those.

I’ll add used egg crates to the list for sound deadening.

After owning a few Off Roads thru the years , I ended up getting a new ‘21 Sport . It was on allocation to my dealer and only 2.5 mos away, vs an Off Road which would be a much longer wait in the color and premium trim I wanted.
I think I used the locker once in 15 years just to try it out, so not having one on the Sport wasnt a deal breaker.
The Sport rides fine , im 99% on road and 1% off . I still don’t regret my choice and I’m 11 months in.

i agree. im kinda wishing i bought the OR instead of the Sport now because even though I dont do ANY off road driving, I really like the mushier ride the OR has compared to the stiffer Sport suspension. I had an SR5 prior to the Sport and the ride on it was HARSH. The Sport suspension is nice and all, especially compared to the SR5, I just wish the Sport had the same suspension the OR has

Redline custom leather shift and e-brake boot. VFTUNE Super Full Otto cycle, octane learning, premium fuel.
Ok now. I had a 1973 Ford F-100. Inline 6 with a three speed on the tree shifter. Manual steering. The seat was like a trampoline. The steering was vague at best. The shifter was sloppy and awful. It had been painted with cream latex house paint. Under that was pea soup green.

It was honestly one of the most fun things to drive I ever owned. I would laugh and smile. Every body loved it because it was just fun. Changed the clutch in 3 hours it was a fun time. Wipers were crap, seat was covered in green military duct tape. It had wing windows and floor vents.

I also owned a 1979 stepside longbed chevy with inline 6, that I swapped over to the old school seperate head engine, offenhouser alum 4 barrel intake, 390 holly manual chole carb, hooker two piece tuned length headers. It had a stupid turbo 350 automatic. It was fun, but not as much fun as shifting.

Automatic transmission are not fun. I dont give a flying crap about whether they are better or not. They just suck all the fun out of driving.

Is the tacoma mt as good as a miata or the snick snick of a Yamaha sport bike? Nope?

It sure is a damn sight better than pulling a notchy lever into drive and just pressing a go or stop pedal.

Sport or Offroad or Pro or SR5 or SR a stick shift is just better.

    So there. Blah.

The hitachis on the sport are brutal. Replace with OME nitrocharger sports and you’ll soften things up

I’m not reading any posts besides the first.

After having a 1st and 2nd gen off road,
I would get a Sport and install a Detroit locker like I currently have on my 2nd gen OffRoad (eLocker removed).

I believe the SR5 drivers are sitting back with fine cigars, 12 yr. old whiskey, and a trophy wife laughing their ass off at the majority of the OR and OR Pro guys that have never remotely needed to lock their differential, while being in denial that they truly desire the Sport hood scoop.

They are using the money saved on a SR5 to buy all the take off parts the other guys are now selling.
