Yeah I put the OTD price on my deposit paper along with my name and VIN. I hope we're both driving it home soon!

That's what I thought and no worries. The manager at the dealership called me today saying the only update they have was on 5/2 saying it arrived at the rail but they're not sure where

Does anyone know what the tire pressures are at when traveling by rail? I know it's higher than usual but not sure of the PSI.

Ghost, if you're in eastern or central PA, my salesman previously told me it would be coming by rail to Annapolis, MD and trucked from there.

It was showing at port in Newark NJ prior to switching to freight and the dealer said it was on it's way headed to the dealership.

I'm in Illinois and from what I've read it should be coming via rail from Texas then to a rail hub called Logistics Park in Elwood, IL. From there it's an hour truck ride to the dealer.

How do you get notifications? I downloaded the toyota app but I don't see where people can see the tire pressure etc?

F means transit, sometimes it stays on A until it arrives to a port. GT is the day it will hit the dealer, but you only find that out the day of. G if for when it hits "Ground"/Dealership.

The dealer should finish finalizing the final cost over the phone. Usually a week or two before expected delivery. They are supposed to email you the numbers. Some dealers might even do e-signature to finalize then you show up in person to hand over your downpayment if you have one.

That's what I expect and that's how it was explained by my salesperson.

I will be making two requests, one, photos of the truck on the lot, and 2 to have the vehicle ready to go so that I can start my 15 hour drive. I did it with my Subaru so I don't see why I can't do it again. Doesn't hurt to ask.

I don't think you have to enable them to get notifications. The connected services are Wifi and Safety Connect.

In the app, go to Account Settings then Notification Settings, by default Push Notification is enabled and all of the choices below are enabled for me. All of the vehicle alerts like doors unlocking and opening and hood open are enabled.

On the main screen, if I tap on the picture of the truck it'll take me to 4 boxes, click on Glovebox and it shows if any dashboard lights are on.

I will admit that I have not received any notifications yet, but I think that's because my build date was last Thursday.

I believe @rndsommer40 is talking about how you need to enable/accept the Connected Services when adding the car into the App, because that's the service that detects the doors, lights, etc. If you don't have that enabled in the first place, you won't get any notifications at all, even if you have notifications enabled on your phone for the Toyota app

yes, you’re right. I removed and added the car and consented and now I see mileage and tire pressure although it’s n/a right now.
I’m expecting that to change in the next couple of days.

I've been following this thread from the beginning of the year when I put a deposit down for a TRD Pro and I've learned a lot. Finally got a call today that I'm next on the list for an allocation, woohoo!
