    Thanks Eric, Sorry I missed those. Was looking at the end of the thread. If you're posting more, an overall back view would be great to see too, especially how that nicely beefing looking recovery point ties in. Looks good, though. Looks like jack lift points on the front -- right? Wasn't sure that was doable on the alum, but good to see.

    I need to get you a deposit and configuration to get going. Will PM.

    I doubt you would see much difference in 50 lbs .

    That all depends on what you are using it for . If you are going to be full on wheeling and bouncing off rocks , then steel would be the best choice.

    The aluminum bumper provides good protection against animal strikes etc , without the additional weight that goes along with the steel bumper .

    3/16 aluminum is tough stuff , there are lots of boats up here made from it .

    I should also add that Eric has reinforced his design and you can mount a winch , there are hi lift jack points and there are two heavy duty recovery points on the front as well .

    My bumper was waiting for me when I got home from work .

    No shipping damage except for a couple tiny dings on the recovery points that I can fix before I paint it .

    I can't wait to get it on my truck , it looks so awesome just sitting on my shop floor .
