another week in the books. Show I feel has been struggling lately, Wednesday seems to be guest day, Tuesday is antics and Monday is Howards recap of ROMCOMs and bachelor nation. I wonder what they would have for content if Ronnie wasn't part of the show. All the guests are now in studio, Howard needs to man up and get back into the city for the sake of paid subscribers. The wrap up show is more entertaining at times but even that has its format. Now Gary and Jon take a day off each week on Thursday and Friday it appears. Summer shutdown is looming.....

 

Yeah. I'm wondering if he'll ever come back. He's too paranoid. Notice how he doesn't even mention Dr. Agus anymore? Dr. Agus was always on the positive and get out and about narrative. Doesn't fit his personal narrative of the pandemic will never end. Oh well. I did think this week was pretty decent though. I personally like the days without guests. I'd rather hear the other bullshit. I'm hoping for good programs during summer break.

 

I agree. The days with guests are boring. Even if it is someone who I like/enjoy.

I'd rather listen to all of the shenanigans and bullshit, rather than an interview.

Ronnie definitely adds a lot of content to the show. I'm sure Howard begged him to stay on even though he "retired" and moved away to NV.

If he had said no, the show would have lost A LOT.

There's other staffers trying to pick up the slack for sure, and some do bring a lot to the show. Others you can tell are trying too hard, and others "dropped off" a lot.

I'm sensing the end is near. Especially with him still not wanting to go back in to the studio. Maybe that's just me.

 

I wonder if the staffers would get back in. That alone could add a lot. I'm not much into the guests either. That being there in person helps make an interview better.

 

Just listening to today's show. But these callers today... all the Hairy Styles fans. LOL.

 

Lieberman on wrap-up today. all about Maryanne feuds.

He was due for a "break" since he'd been on for a couple of week straight already.

 

sad but true. now what to listen to for the week(s).

 

And my guess is that he'll also be off next week, since Monday is a holiday.

 

they are running A to Z on Sternthology so yea, another 2 weeks off.
