Yeah.... that's the majority of my driving, winding country roads with lots of ups and downs.

    Updates to come...
I guess should clarify, my commute is mostly country roads into the metropolis - some winding/up/down roads (and decent climber actually too), and still does the ~16 mpg by the time I get into the office - so pleasantly surprised for sure.

But hear ya - that TT V6 moves! As well, I think it wise to give a year or two to get the growing pains and bugs out from under the hood as well :)

Bought a new 2022 SR5 Tundra and purchased the 2003 Tacoma base model 2.4L with manual transmission for $12,500 new. The Tacoma and Tundra are "keepers"!

The biggest issue right now is the blow off valves, and getting replacements.

I just switched back to a pick-up from an SUV... Looked at Taco's BUT this Tundra just "hit" the everything button.... Might say I now own the "early version" of the 3rd Gen Taco BUT with a V-8 :cool::cool::cool:

Just traded my 2016 taco for a 2022 tundra. Love the power and extra space. Waiting for someone to build a cap for it

haven't done anything to it yet. Just a couple cosmetics things. Looks good. I do miss the silver color a bit

Yup, hoping ARE makes a bed cap for them soon. I use to sleep in my tacos bed during fishing excursions. I love the power of the tundra. The taco seemed a bit week in certain scenarios

Yeah, I have seen a cap for the 2022's yet, but I'm sure they are coming soon.

I hear you on the power, but Tacoma is a great little truck

I’m coming from a Tundra and will soon be getting a white Tacoma Trd offroad dcsb. I had a 2020 tundra Trd offroad and I loved that thing. Bullet proof truck. My family and I didn’t really need it though. I honestly wouldn’t touch these new tundras with a 10 ft pole. There’s way too much complexity and no proven reliability whatsoever. They won’t last nearly as long

was it too big for your needs? Poor MPG also a factor for the switch? I mean, it is a lot of truck

    Just curious :)

Yeah it just wasn’t practical. I don’t really tow or anything and didn’t have a use for it other than looking badass and sounding cool. It’s just me, my wife, and my 10 month old son living in a 2 bedroom apartment in Southern California, so a taco makes more sense. Haha

    Yeah, that makes sense.

    Hope you're happy with it!
