Thank you Eric - please count me in for the next group! My truck came from Virginia but is in really good shape considering. I need to keep it that way. And my bimmer and the Mini. Is woolwax the thing to use? does anyone pay a "pro" or are those giving the same result, essentially?

Yeah - in aberdeen proper. I want more land but that'll work itself out. And if I take a PCS back to europe it'd be pretty easy to rent-out the house, being so close to APG. I hope.

Back of the envelope math shows I'm paying $150/week just to get to work, gas and tolls; that's driving the bimmer at ~32mpg. If I get the house in Aberdeen, i'd be paying less than $15/week for gas. Also the house shows it's on natural gas vs heating oil.

Will need some driveway help - need to excavate some of the landscaping to fit bimmer and mini - and need some pavers or gravel to park the Tacoma out of the way. SO - if anyone has a bobcat or small excavator. holler :)

I’ve got MT Baja boss At on my Tundra so far they have been great .They have a aggressive tread for a AT but they are wearing well so far about 6000 miles on them and are pretty quiet considering how aggressive they are .

I have duratracs on my 3 lifted trucks and no complaints here. Back in January when I bought the set for my 4runner (the old duratracs were from 2014 and still performed great) Walmart had the cheapest price I could find, cheaper than shop cost thru my work.

I had the Falken Wildpeakes. Liked them, quiet and good in rain. Didn't get much snow to test them. No off-road experience with them

He's still talking about me. Just sayin'

    Then what? Skinny dipping season?

    Looks great!

 you're turning into an old guy.

    :mudding:

Or a candy bar. Any kind.

New guy! Welcome to the forum and the Maryland thread!

Plus you never know what mall crawler is pissing upriver.
    :anonymous:

    Describe unreasonable amount.

I squirted my truck off the other day. Well, just half.

I may need something to fix something I broke.

I thought they just bolted onto something? Now I'm curious.

    @AR15xAR10

You gotta purty shock there boy.

    Where's the solenoid?

Huh, I'm regularly hooked to a tree. But not to worry, it's never for long.

    Look at you!

Uhhhh, that may or may not have been absconded. And I must say, it fit nicely in my garage.

    That's pretty bad ass there.

Wow, am I the only one that had re-read this a couple times? Firm hand job!?

Great area. Lots of things in that area.

There's a place like that up the road from me.

    :headbang: looks freaking awesome Mason!

    FTFY, again.

You forgot the wildlife. The flies are amazing little terrors.

    Do you sell cheese?

For Sale: One barely used ground tent. Cheap.

    Because you are the muscle!

    Margarita's?

    LOL

Or old friends, like @Jim=2015 TRD PRO @greengen1 and especially that @Fire Arrow guy. They are old af!

That's everything he asked for. Wow. :muscleflexing:

Did you hit lotto? Remember, we're 4Loco Bros:drunk:

    Hehehe

Hmmmmmm, I know a guy that works for Maryland Concrete and they specialize in foundation work. The owner just redid a farm next to us. Zoinks. Makes our place look like a large shed. :pout:

    :spy:

And since when did you become a crabbers? And you know, the real fun is with hand lines. Old school.

This ^^^^^, or a couple sump pumps.

    wtf?!

I have to wonder if a smaller firm is cheaper than a larger one? Have you talked to anyone in the area to ask if anyone has any suggestions?

What style home? Maybe attack it from that angle. You probably wouldn't want to have anyone without experience with your style. I would think.

This all sounds like logical thinking. I think I've seen where they used a heavy PVC pipe, drilled, wrapped and encased in small stone. This allowed them to go back and clean it out easier, and to keep it from being crushed over time like thinner, corrugated plastic pipe.

Also, as far as excavation goes. I watched a show not to long ago, and they rented an air powered digger. It literally uses high pressure air to dig. When you run into a large obstacle you have to mitigate it but for ease, it sure beat heavy equipment.

I recently did survey for the city, and saw a crew repairing a water line. They cut out a section of the asphalt, then broke out one of these. They used it to blow out a 3' deep hole in like 30 minutes. Another guy had a huge vacuum. Wild. I think like 3k psi.

    Remember, you started it.......

    https://youtu.be/W16qzZ7J5YQ

Another new guy. Welcome to the forum and the best damn thread on it.

You really sound like you know your shit! How long have you been lurking, just waiting for someone to ask about crab stuff?!

Most importantly! WTF is a snood?

Yes, I could look it up but then that wouldn't be engaging.

Also, how much are your crabs?

Total for us was 3.5". Crazy dogs were even nuttier all penned in.

    Wait! Clams :hungry: I'm in!

And, that sounds ingenious except don't they get heavy on that much trout line? I could see maybe 3 or 4 bags of clams but, yea, a hundred!? That's some weight there.
    :benchpress:

Yea, what's up with rope prices?!! Don't get me started with chain.

Can you use paracord? It's much cheaper than equally strong line. I would think.

Hey Marylander! Welcome to the forum and the nut house.

Sorry to hear and I hope no one was injured. I hate to hear these stories but love your attitude.

Blasphemous behavior will not be tolerated. :smack:

    :angrygirl:

    What are you buying?

Another new guy?! Welcome to the forum and the Maryland thread! :hattip:

    Oh my!

    Bronze is da shiznit!

    :D

Me next please! Looks awesome Mason! :headbang:

    :headbang::headbang::headbang:

Note to self...... do not go down any steep hills in David's truck.

    [Cough]Wuss[Cough]

He's a Great White, what do you expect?

Damn my friend! Looks fantastic! I'm definitely riding with you next time at Dave's!

A lot lot more than mine cost!

    What about the bikes?

I have a big portable geni, and a bottle opener that has a magnet.

I can't get the geni in the truck but I'm bringing the bottle opener anyway! Hang on!

    This ^^^^^ FTW!

The 3/4 ton diesel Ram I bought new in 2006 cost 2k more than our first house.
    :anonymous:

    I knew a guy :spy:

Lady M swoops in with big throwdown! That's the spirit young lady!
    :101010:

Give em whut fer ! :fistbump:

Aaaaand, this is different how? Have you seen this weekend forecasts? The only good is I have grass seed down and hoping it helps. It's tough to water regularly on a well. I do it after 1 am while we're sleeping. And also because Maizy, the hardest of the two girls to dry, is a complete psycho for water. She stood in front of the sprinkler until she was drenched. Only the lawn 5' away got water. :burp:

    Intriguing

    Charles :hattip:

Aw man that fkn sux balls! What about the sheet metal?
    :fingerscrossed:

@Russty__. Rus.....oh, right....well now you got the hacienda you could have a stable of campers.

I have a jig saw. I have a sander. I have files. Hell, I even have a dremel.

Besides, hydro-cutting might be cheaper than CNC.

I can feel that love all the way up here Drew!

    Nice, Dad.

    :rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl:

Didn't we get you some yet?!

With 8 years "barely" is a bit of an understatement.

Also, when you multi-quote the mods have it set up so you get extra post points that you can use to buy stuff from the forum store. I typically buy the TW underwear. It cradles me well.

    Welcome back tho :hattip:

Explain this for us old guys...... is it 'peace out' or 'I'll take two to go'?

These would be great with the Old Bay vodka I saw.

Welcome to the forum and the Maryland thread! :hattip:

Honestly we don't care what anyone drives. Or if they have never been offroad. We would never berate anyone for those things.

"They just hate us cause' they anus"! Knowimsayin'?

I had had a 2014 MGM. I even made a exhaust mod video.

    https://youtu.be/ypUo14kJXzM

Black is the best color. After Voodoo Blue of course.
    :D

Enotria is a bit far from Aberdeen but much more authentic. When we moved up, we would go. It was as good as any place in Little Italy, where at one time, a lifetime ago, I use to work.

Best cheesesteak sub anywhere, including Philly is Tamberino's in Hickory. All their food is great. I recommend getting the grilled chicken parmesan sub. I have them cook banana peppers with mine. Since we do take out, we get the sauce on the side so the roll doesn't get soggy getting home to eat.

@pdenajim Jim has stock in Box Hill and if had to buy crab cakes it would be from there first then Tamberino's. I saw jumbo lump for $52 recently so I'm going to enjoy my $24 dozen steamed crabs. The other day they were $15!

Oh yea, I always believe what Eric says but when it comes to food, Eric could stand behind me and you wouldn't see him. And I've lost weight!

Both two of old stomping grounds when we rode. That place over on Bel Air Rd, just south of Mountain Rd looks busy all the time.

    Famous last words

I've run a couple different tires in my truck/suv life. All the ones you mentioned are really good tires. Better than most.

Personally, even though I'm going to cry $$$ :angrygirl: when I have to replace them, the S/T Maxx is now at the top of favorites list.

It's just a damn good tire. On the road, after 30k miles, I'm just starting to notice them with all the windows open, at higher speeds. Hardly any wear. They're going to dry rot first. Stable in heavy rain. No vibes, at all, even at stupid speeds. Snow was not an issue, again this year, but the online reviews are nothing less than stellar in deep stuff. Offroad too. I was there and they kept me going. Others with more experience can attest to this better than I.

It comes down to your ultimate goal. I'm always looking for the next best thing. I feel like I've been trading up all this time.

    Mmm Meeeeat :homer:

Again, they aren't cheap, or light, but have you looked at the S/T Maxx?

Back up you losers, still talking to me! :humble:

Hankook makes a good tire. They have a big following. Great warranty too.

:ohsnap: what did I miss :goingcrazy:

Buy 5 and you get to rotate the spare to the right rear, move the right rear to the right front, the right front goes to the left rear, the left rear moves forward to the left front and finally, the left front becomes your spare. Easy peasy lemonade.

    :D

    :fingerscrossed:

The best tire for that vehicle most likely. A huge cult following. Hey, can you teach me the secret wave? I want to mess with jeep people.

Oooo, :burp: what is that!

Have you posted over on the NE Craigslist thread? @fatfurious2 David is the finder of all things great and small. Plus a cool young man.

    HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

    THIS ^^^^^ FTW!

Thank you for asking Dear. The rest of you can suck eggs!

Well, if I say I'm likely going to get another MRI, is that ok? It's possible, that in my haste, I may have damaged the repair. There's still pain after 13 weeks. For dumb stuff. Like mowing the lawn for over an hour with a 22" walk-behind, yea, some stabbing pain afterwards, but taking clothes out of washer to put in the dryer, no.

With my luck and track record though, the smart money is on a possible do-over.

Hey Joe! Of course we have Nova peeps in here! Most of them prefer us because for the most part, we're sexier, and dress nicer. I had 16' 4RTrail. Loved it but hated hauling my trash to the dump in it. So I went back to a truck. The wife wants one. I told her to see what transpires with possible future FJ prospect.

Anyway, hell yea, welcome to the forum and the Maryland thread! :hattip:
