So last week my I went to start my 2015 TRD Sport and it stalled out only about 1 second after turning over. This continued and it continued to show a CEL, A/T Oil Temp, and battery light. This continued through the next day. That night I aggressively researched everything and attempted my own fixes, from MAF Sensor to checking Fuel pump relays. The next day I had it towed to a shop where since then they have replaced: Throttle Body, Throttle Sensor, and MAF Sensor. After bringing in a Toyota Tech today, they believe this all might have been caused by the "Immobilizer". Any thoughts on this? I hopefully should find out more tomorrow. The shop owner stated he had just been following the fault codes he was getting from the computer. No keys I have work before or after all the replacement parts. The truck has 156k so I'm not super upset about updating some parts to new condition and some fresh wiring.

Was your security light flashing with the key on when the truck wouldn't start?
A throttle body wouldn't cause a no start unless it was shorted internally, a MAF sensor typically won't either.

Honestly didn’t look before sending it off. I did try my spare key before and it also didn’t work.

Sure sounds to me like a fuel pump resistor issue.

I asked because an immobilizer issue is usually accompanied by the security light flashing with the key on.
Sounds like the other shop just winged some parts at it without doing any testing.

The 1 sec stall is common when the battery is disconnected. Did you change the battery or disconnect it at any point?
