Did my own 30,000 mile service. Oil/filter change, front differential drain and refill, transfer case drain and refill, as well as the rear differential drain and refill. Took about 3 hours but I was taking my time. Gear oil didn’t look too bad when I drained it, but I’m glad to have fresh lube in there. The magnets on the drain plugs had some bits of crud on them but nothing major.

Four hours, two lost trim clips, and a few questionable words later, I completed the installation of the MESO Puddle Pods. Absolutely love these little gems.

Finally won my battle with the third brake light nuts. Talk about going in blind!!
Installed my new LED third brake light from Tacoma Lifestyle. Decided to extend the switch for ease in the rare case I want a different effect.
In my opinion, it is very bright at night, not so much in daylight.
Will NOT go back to original for my own reasons. ;)

hahah yeah i worry about the top of the cab the most to be honest with having no garage. It was a bit warm like 70f so it wasnt ideal for getting the black paint wet then dry off a little then spray wax, so I just sprayed extra wax and worked it in. Looks pretty good, except for the pinstriping I have from I guess running into brush. Then tried to wipe off the excess where I could but it all pretty much just got ate up by the sun and elbow grease

Finally got some new kicks for my truck. Wanted Toyos after my positive experience with them on my first gen(RIP).
Got them online from the jungle despite warnings here saying I’d wind up with old stock. OC AT3s were $100 cheaper than anywhere in town and I got free shipping without prime, which turned out to be UPS 2nd day air somehow. I’ll miss out on the shop warranty, but I’m alright with my choice.
Anxiously awaiting their mount and balance and to find out if the used tpms sensors I got from a member here work or not. Then all that’s left is to slap ‘em on aaaaaand wait for a 5th wheel for the matching spare.
Edit: Wish I’d known scs were unobtainium, overhyped and had such sparse releases before I committed to the other four gen5s...
